Brainstorming Session

Thinking out of the box. Easy to say when it is someone else's business. The purpose of this type of consulting session is to obtain a critical analysis of where your business is and is not. You will not be disappointed. This is not the same as traditional brainstorming where ‘every idea’ is good. Part of this session is the fun part where you let Lia know your goals and dreams for your business. You come up with ideas, Lia listens, takes notes and talks story. Lia is there to tell you what works, what needs improvement and what should be changed completely.  After 20 years of working in the marketing field, Lia Kay Barrad has obtain a wealth of resources. She loves to learn and feels it is her obligation to stay as current and as qualified as the industry demands.

Most recently, Lia Kay Barrad's work has centered on repairing websites that were built for the 'pretty' by web designers that do not understand the marketing side of the business. This special consulting service is called Search Engine Marketing, for which she is a certified business consultant.

Follow-up with a HMS Marketing Action Plan

This written plan is similar to a list of things to do and is a direct result of the Barrads’ Brainstorming Session.  Most business owners seek advice when they cannot see the ‘forest through the trees’. This plan is a pathway. This is a critical part of creating business success.  It is Lia's belief that most marketing plans do not take into consideration Traditional and Web Marketing Services. This results in a duplication of effort or inaccurate hiring of vendors to provides these services.

Your Custom Marketing Action Plan outlines suggestions about how to grow your company. It is Lia's belief that most businesses need to fill in business knowledge gaps to find resouces or solve problems. Once these resources have been identified, the consultant's role is completed. However, some businesses are too busy to put some of these items in action. In that case, if you would like to contract with Barrads to provide these services, like implementing specific marketing projects for you, the action plan will serve as a useful tool to determine timeline, budget and other costs.
